Ditchling Parish Council own the building that is known as the Scout Headquarters in East End Lane.

After many years using the building in East End Lane as their headquarters, Ditchling scouts have decided to leave. They have leased the building since 1966 at a peppercorn rent and in return been responsible for the maintenance. Unfortunately this is no longer viable and they have ended the lease and will be vacating in the building in 2023. Ditchling Parish Council is considering what best to do with the building in the long term interests of all residents.
